Welcome to
the Morning Worship
at
College Heights Baptist
on January the fifteenth, 2023
service begins at 10:30 AM
With joy you will drink deeply
from the fountain of salvation!
In that wonderful day you will sing:
“Thank the Lord! Praise his name!
Tell the nations what he has done.
Let them know how mighty he is!
Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things.
Make known his praise around the world.

This group will begin the Saturday at 8 am
in the Broom Tree Coffee Room. If you
have any questions or are interested in
coming, please see Amy Upshaw or
contact her at upshaw7@att.net. This is a
great way to support one another and build
deeper relationships with one another
while growing in your relationship with
God.
Emergency Shelter Meals
Each year we commit to furnishing two
casseroles on the 9th of each month. Jan.
and Oct. are already spoken for, but there
are plenty of very nice months left for
your choosing. There is a sign-up sheet on
the table in the foyer and one will be
posted on the bulletin board at the east
hall “zig-zag.” Eva Sue Akins (785-3416120) is the contact.
People can cry much easier
than they can change.

On-going Church Assessment
Next Sunday, there will be opportunities
for you to meet with Bob Mills to
discuss the results of the NCD survey.
These groups will help Bob, and
possibly an assistant, to accomplish two
primary goals:
1) Ask you questions to help clarify and
gain greater insight into some of the
results of the NCD survey
2) Listen to you share what you believe
is going well at College Heights as well
as areas that concern you.
Then, we will work together to figure
out some next steps to take in the areas
we believe need the most immediate
attention. There will be opportunities to
sign up Sunday morning and also in the
email next Monday.
